 My Reflection:
I have been learning about Figurative language.  Similes, Metaphor, Idioms, Alliteration, Onomatopoeia and a lot more .  It is very interesting.  I would like to do this again

My Reflection ;

I have been learning how to make a rectangular prism.  It was a little bit tricky to make the sides equal.  I have made a cube , Triangle prism  and a rectangular prism .  I would like to do this again .

Room 25 have been learning about earthquakes and what to do when there is one.

We had an audio conference . And these are some facts and a question that I still want to know.  I have found out what the word restrain means it means to not put pressure on your pets and don't hold them just let them go free

My Reflection:
I found it a bit easy because I love maths.  I found fraction review 2 a lot harder.  I would love to do this again.

I found this a lot harder than the first one because Number 2 is a bit hard but in the end I solved it.
I would love to do this again.

My Narrative study

Learning to solve fraction problems involving shapes and money: The Unusual baker

My Reflection:
I have been learning to solve fraction problems.

I had to work out the fraction of each piece and then find the cost of each piece of cake.

 I learnt that you can add different fractions unless you change them to the same number. 

It was tricky to solve the last question cause I was rushing a bit.

Next time I would like to go slower and not rush.

Learning to write a Movie Script

My Reflection:
Isla, Schapelle and I are working on a movie script.  Next we are going to be working on a storyboard. I am looking really ford to be doing this

Elm Park school gymnastic team had a competition last Thursday. We did really well that we made it to the champs with gymnasts from all over Auckland.

On Sunday the 16th of August I had a gymnastic competition .  I came third overall and I came first in a team with 3 others.

I have been learning to paint flowers it was very hard to do because it was a bit noisy.
But I did finish and I think it was worth it.

I was able to use my fraction knowledge to answers these questions.  It is very easy now that I have learnt all the strategies to solve the answers.

My 100 Word Challenge

My Reflection:
I have been learning to write 100 word challenges but this is acutely a 105 word challenge.
I had to use the 5 words carefully , horse , swam , green and pipe   .
It was a bit easy because cause I've done a lot of these .
I would like to do this again.

My Statistical Investigation

My Reflection:
I am learning to make tally charts and collect data. It can be tricky to collect all the data from the kids when there not listening. 

I am so proud of making my tally charts and not getting stuck in between it .   

The next steep for me might be to do a better question . 

 If I ever got stuck I could ask my teacher and maybe my friends to help .

Some of the people in room 25 have been learning how to do animation including me.
Its actually really fun I did one about a healthy sandwich because were learning about sugar and welbeing  .

I am absolutely in love with gymnastics I do it out of school and at school .

I am learning to speed write I have learnt to take my time and ad interesting words ad use one or two similes. I do this every monday but a different story every time.

I  am learning to make a bio poem. And share about my self and what I like.
I have done this before in year 4 but it is different to my last one I think this one is better than the last one.
I got help from my teacher.  I would like to do another one next year.  And make it more interesting.

The Frog In The Well Problem

My Reflection:
I am learning to figure out how many solutions I can come up with.
It was really tricky because my partner Schapelle said that it would take 30 days but then I said it might change so you have to take your time.
I am so proud of my partner and I for not giving up and we kept trying.
The next step for me is to maybe think of some other ways to figure out this problem.
I can get help from my teachers.

Audio Conference Room 25

My Reflection:

Yesterday room 25 did a audio conference on a website called Learnz.  We went on a virtual trip called the Routeburn track.  I worked on question number 6 with my partner Aliah.  I was taking the notes and Aliah was reading the questions. We learnt how to note-take and note-make (the note-taking is in black and the note-making is in blue).  I didn't find any thing tricky about this because I paid attention.  Next time I would  like to do another virtual trip because it told me a lot of facts about the Routeburn track.

Learning To Write a Readers Response

My Reflection: 
I am learning to write a readers response to a text .
It was tricky to remember all about Caesar because we did part of the story every day . I enjoyed learning about Caesar because I was learning a lot about World War 1.  I would like to do another readers response because I love reading and learning new things.
