Character Parade Award

My Reflection:

Today eps had a book character parade. I won this certificate because I had one of the best costumes on I had dressed up as Snow white. we might be doing it again next year but I don't know what I would dress up as next year but thats a while away. I had so much fun looking at every ones costumes.

My Maths Graph

        My Reflection :
Last week I did a maths graph and I had to use my thinking brain to think of a really good question.When I had found my question I had to go around the class and ask the children the question that I came up with. Just over half of the class are really good at art probably because they love art and they also practice it a lot. I did not find anything tricky because I have been practicing math graphs a lot at home and at school. I loved doing this graph using Google Spreadsheet and I would like to do another one sometime soon using a pie graph.

I got this award because I was showing the elm park school values and I use my manners. I have been really trying hard at school.

My Reflection:

I made a christmas tree on  tagul. Its a new site we found on google. I think that you should sign up so you can do a christmas tree or something else. 

My Personal Writing Reflection

Today when I analysed how I did in my last independent recount sample I saw how I was going with my work. My one weakest area was my vocabulary because I have not really been using vocabulary much . I know I am really good at spelling and because I have a lot of ideas because I practice at home and at school.

My Reflection: I think that i have done a good job on this activity because I practice my maths and I used fractions. I would love to do another one of these problems again.

 My Reflection:
 I am learning to write a better story because this is my second story with Tianna who was my buddy and she helped me write it. We were learning to put our speech marks in the right place and we were also learning to put our commas in the write place as well.

 I am so proud that we both worked as a team. It took awhile because we were working so hard on it
 together.  We did a good story because we used interesting words and we used proper sentences and we also used punctuation like speech marks.  They were very tricky.

This is my cube that I made. I made it out of card board. 

It is a little bit tricky because when you go to glue it together or sellotape  it together its hard and falls apart - thats why its tricky

I was in the maths olympiad team at my school.  I got this certificate for trying my best and because I was in the maths olympiad. I was in a team with 3 other people and it was lots of fun.

How many squares are in my foot
I used multiplication to add up how many squares there were in my foot and there were 295 squares in my foot. It was easy because I practice my maths a lot at home and at school.

My Dream House Work

My Reflection:I have tried my best to make a dream house out of shapes. My second dream house is really different to the first dream house that I made. I would like to do a dream house again but use different shapes.

My Reader's Theatre group

This is my reader's theatre group. We have been practicing really hard.  When I got feed back one person said I had good expression and I had my book down so they could see my face and hear my words and I had a clear voice but I need to work on having a voice like my character.  Next time I would like to do a funny play.
